The market since 2008

The weekly market in the Bötzowviertel has been held every Saturday on Arnswalder Platz since 2008.

What began with a handful of stalls has become a fixed Saturday appointment for many neighbours over the years.

How it started

The idea was simple: a market for fresh, wholesome food, in the middle of the neighbourhood and within walking distance.

What defines the market

The usual market range of fresh produce for your own kitchen, plus freshly brewed coffee. Most of the businesses come from Berlin and Brandenburg — from the Spreewald, the Prignitz and the surrounding countryside.

Arnswalder Platz provides the setting: a green space in the middle of the Bötzowviertel, far enough from through traffic that you can hold a conversation.

Today

The market runs every Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm. If you want to know who is there at the moment, you will find the businesses on the traders page.

The market runs all year round. There is no winter break — between November and February too, the market is here every Saturday.
